You’ve met one of the many amazing transgender singles in Manila, but not sure where to go on dates? We have some excellent suggestions in this article.

Manila Bay

This is a great spot if you want to be somewhere calm and peaceful. At the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), there are amazing views, and yachts too if that’s something you’re into. MOA is the place to go if you want to get some shopping done before you feast your eyes on the sunset. It’s one of the biggest malls in the country, if not in Asia, and also has ice skating rinks. There are some really nice restaurants here, where you can have dinner together. And don’t worry – while it’s true that personal interaction can provoke anxiety, you’ll find yourself relaxing as the date progresses. Don’t forget that relationships are built in person, not online.

Eating Out

While we’re on the subject of food, there are quite a few trans-friendly restaurants in Manila. The capital of the Philippines has plenty of options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There’s Plane Bistro for a travel-themed eatery, Nook Café for Harry Potter fans, and Velvet Friends Cat Café for – you guessed it – cat lovers. If you want to enjoy a traditional Filipino dish with your date, look no farther than Ristorante delle Mitre.

Cycle the Streets of Manila

Rent a bike and go cycling with your date. The weekend is a particularly good time to do this because there are far fewer people in the city. Roads are almost traffic-free and lots of people go back to their provinces. One trail to MOA starts from the CCP. It’s lined with quaint little restaurants and relaxing green areas. You can go for a picnic, weather permitting. Bike riding is a nice way to spend time together and ease anxiety as you don’t have to carry on a conversation, which is great news for the socially awkward of us. It never hurts to try to make a good impression, but above all be yourself because that’s what really counts.
